  21. Acuity Précis 1.4a
  22. Acuity Précis is a lexical editor for C and C++ source files. The lexical basis is used in selection and provides outline viewing using the {..} structure of the file, token based searches that ignore whitespace (comments, newlines, spaces, tabs), automatic comment alignment, and more. A configuration language provides extensive control of display and print formatting, editor options, and language dialects. Functions consisting of one or more Précis operations may be created and assigned to key combinations. Précis has multilevel Undo/Redo, and file comparison capabilities. Window panes and multiple windows on the same file are supported. Précis will operate stand alone or with the Think C development environment. Documentation is provided through a Help system. This demonstration version is full featured, but has a 15 day (extendible) license period. An order form is available under the Apple menu to order the regular release version. Commercial version is $72.

AppMaker is an application for generating the user interface, and the source code behind it, for a new or existing Macintosh application. AppMaker saves development time and cuts drudgery by letting you create menus, windows, dialogs, and alerts just by clicking and dragging to arrange what you want on the screen.  With one command, AppMaker automatically generates the source code for the user interface you've designed, for selected modules, or for the entire application. You can choose either C or Pascal, for MPW or THINK language systems. This is a limited DEMO which will give you a good idea of how the full product works.

BroadCast will securely compress and encrypt your product, and embed it in an executable unlocker application that can be publicly distributed. When a customer wishes to purchase your product, he or she simply runs the unlocker application. A unique control number is displayed, together with instructions composed by you and the telephone number of your sales desk. Your sales representative processes a credit card transaction and captures registration information. Using software we provide, the sales representative then generates a unique unlocking password for the customer. When the customer enters that password, the product is unlocked.

IntelliBots is a simulated software development environment where you learn basic programming principles by developing programs for "intelligent robots", also called IntelliBots (or IBots for short). IntelliBots is DemoWare.  That means that if you want to use all of its functionality you must pay for it.  Some functionality in the software is unavailable until you purchase it. The features not available until the software is purchased are: simulations are limited to one or two IBots, IBot statistics are not enabled, mission statistics are not kept or reported, locking is not supported in the assembler, and tournaments and tournament reports are not functional.

MacProlog32 is a Prolog development environment. This demo is subject to the following restrictions: you may only have up to 6 program source windows at any one time, you may only have up to 6K of text in any program source window, and you may not save object code. The full MacProlog32 system allows an unlimited number of program windows, with up to 32K of text in each. There is no Optimizing Compiler or Debugger in this Demo version.

  152. QC™ Demo is a fully functional version of QC with all tests and preferences active. QC is a control panel/extension that adds the ability to stress test applications for runtime, memory related errors. You can use this demo to test your applications without any modifications to your source code. There is a sample app called BadAPPL that illustrates some of the errors that QC detects. This app also uses the QCAPI for controlling QC testing directly from your code. Full source to BadAPPL is part of the shipping product. This demo requires a serial number (available via email from Onyx) to activate it for a period of time. $99 retail.

SoftLock is an electronic sales and distribution system. Use it to lock your software, and you can post it on the Internet, put it on bulletin boards, give it to the public library, encourage users to pass it freely from person to person. At the same time, you can protect your program's advanced features with a SoftLock Password. And SoftLock Passwords only work on the system for which they are issued. So when your customer gives a copy to a friend, your product automatically falls back into its "demo" mode, and invites another purchase.

  172. SoftSearch is for indexing text on servers, CD-ROMs, and hard disks for fast search and retrieval. It uses XTND or internal file formatting and can read most filetypes like Word, WordPerfect, RTF, Excel, Works, PageMaker etc. Indexes are small (indexing 1600 files on a CD usually create a 1 Mb index) and searching is very fast (searching the above index takes less than a second). You can look at files or launch them with the correct application.

  182. StoneTable is a replacement for the Macintosh List Manager and is,available for use with Think C, Think Pascal, or MPW C. StoneTable provides a rich set of functions for the Macintosh developer who needs to display or accept data in a tabular form. Conversion from the List Manager is straight forward because StoneTable contains functions with similar names and parameters that are semantically equivalent.

  191. UpdateMaker 2.3.3
  192. UpdateMaker is an application that can determine the differences between any two Macintosh files, be they applications, documents, system files, or whatever. UpdateMaker documents describe the changes needed to convert one file (called the "old" file, whether it is older or not) into the "new" file. You cannot read UpdateMaker documents, since they are stored in a compact form. However, you can apply the UpdateMaker document to a copy of the "old" file and it will generate an exact copy of the "new" file.
